bride and groom kiss on mezzaine level of chez wedding venue with purple lighting

The regal elements of Stefanie and Matt’s black tie wedding at Chez included custom wedding stationery that was adorned with crowns and exquisite Louis XVI chairs for their sweetheart table during the wedding reception. The crowns on the wedding stationery had dual significance to the actual wedding ceremony and Matt’s family history. The couple chose traditional Greek crowns and ribbon for their wedding ceremony so they could use the same crowns that were used by Matt’s parents and grandparents. Because of Matt’s day job at Tom James Company, the groom definitely knew his way around a bespoke suit and custom dress shirts, and the wedding was sure to be filled with sartorial style. A black tie wedding with a custom clothing professional as the groom may easily lean towards a formal atmosphere, but Stefanie and Matt’s wedding reception was full of laughter and dancing thanks largely to the preparation the couple had leading up to their Chicago wedding: they signed up for dance classes at Arthur Murray Dance Center after they were engaged. A great way to keep the couple in sync and show off new dance moves at their big celebration! One of Stefanie’s personal favorite moments from the September wedding was an iconic photo shoot at the Chicago museum campus, with the dramatic city skyline and Lake Michigan serving as a backdrop. Both Stefanie and Matt can be seen grinning ear to ear in the heartwarming moments leading up to their special wedding at Chez.
