bride and groom hug underneath church arch

The summer wedding of Hanna and John was a special occasion that brought together a loving couple, their friends and families...and proof that love can conquer even the deepest of baseball team rivalries. Hanna went with a modern sleeveless wedding dress that was perfect for the Chicago summer wedding setting, and John sported a classic black tux. Both bride and groom worked in one sensational outfit change by donning the hanbok, or the traditional Korean wedding attire, outside of their downtown Chicago wedding venue for a quick photo shoot. The hanbok colors of pink and light blue were nicely tied into the wedding venue decoration, which was done up in pink blush accents with grey curtains. The table settings were also a stately grey and this was carried through in the attire for the bridal party. But the interesting twist on this pink and grey summer wedding was that bride and groom were on opposite sides of the age-old St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs baseball rivalry. Will Hanna convince John to jump over to rooting for her hometown Cubs? Time will tell, but for now congratulations are in order for this couple on a lovely summer wedding!
